DevOps Engineer

It brings words, data, and teams together, empowering researchers to design more intelligent trials, master complexity, and reach milestones faster.The DevOps Engineer is an important member of the engineering organization responsible for supporting reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and deployment automation. This role partners closely with Software Engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and enhance the operational maturity of Faro Health's cloud-native SaaS platform.This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure and automation challenges, improving developer productivity, and contributing to modern DevOps practices across Azure, GCP, and AWS environments.Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelinesBuild and maintain CI/CD automation to improve software delivery velocity, consistency, and reliabilityAssist in managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and related toolingCollaborate with Software Engineering teams to support deployment automation and cloud-native application operationsMonitor system reliability, availability, and performance, helping troubleshoot production and infrastructure issuesContribute to containerized application deployments using Kubernetes and Docker technologiesParticipate in infrastructure improvements focused on scalability, security, and operational efficiencySupport platform observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting solutionsResearch and evaluate emerging DevOps tools and technologies to improve engineering workflows and platform capabilitiesParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response activities as neededNOTE: Candidates and Recruiting Agencies, please do not contact our employees regarding the position or your application status. Please DO NOT SPAM our employees regarding the role or your application statusRequirementsQualifications3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Software Engineering rolesExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environmentsHands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Kubernetes and related technologies such as Docker and HelmFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as TerraformExperience working in agile engineering environments with cross-functional collaborationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to operational excellenceAbility to balance speed, reliability, and maintainability in infrastructure and automation solutionsComfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving business and technical requirementsSkills and CompetenciesCloud Platform: Experience with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with cloud networking, compute, storage, and security fundamentals. Exposure to Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or similar toolsContainerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals. Familiarity with HELM and container deployment workflows is preferredCI/CD & Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines. Ability to support automated build, test, and deployment workflowsScripting & Development Support: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, NodeJs, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity supporting applications built with technologies such as Node.js and PythonMonitoring & Reliability: Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools. Understanding of system reliability, troubleshooting, and incident response practicesInterest in applying AI-assisted tooling and automation to DevOps workflows is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experienceBenefitsSalarySalary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 per year.Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or trainingEquityIn addition to this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation for this position.
