TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.Position DescriptionManages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.Major/Essential FunctionsOperational Oversight: Managing day-to-day unit activities, scheduling, and allocating resources to ensure effective patient care. Clinical Leadership: Developing and enforcing clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvements. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and corporate regulations. Patient Advocacy: Resolving patient, family, and physician concerns to ensure high standards of careResponsibilities include hiring and developing staff, managing budgets, enforcing regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, CMS), improving clinical workflows, and collaborating with senior leadership. Occasional DutiesStaff Management: Hiring, training, mentoring, and performing evaluations for clinical staff, including nurses and support personnel. Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day unit operations, optimizing patient flow, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Quality and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards (federal, state, and ICH GCP) and driving quality improvement initiatives. Financial Administration: Managing departmental budgets, monitoring expenditures, and controlling costs. Communication/Liaison: Acting as a liaison between staff, administration, and physicians to resolve issues and improve service. Required QualificationsBachelor's degreeThree (3) years of supervisory experience OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
