DescriptionJOB TITLE: Direct Support Professional – FNC Day ProgramDEPARTMENT: FNC Day ProgramSUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Program Manager/DirectorPOSITIONS SUPERVISED: NoneJOB STATUS: Full Time/Non-ExemptSCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8am- 4pmSummaryProvide active treatment, skill development, and personal support to individuals participating in the FNC Day Program. This role focuses on enhancing independence, promoting meaningful daily engagement, and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals through person-centered services in both facility and community settings.Key ResponsibilitiesPerson Served Support Provide direct support, instruction, and personal assistance in a respectful and professional manner Implement active treatment strategies to promote skill development and independence Assist with personal care needs (e.g., toileting, feeding, mobility) as required Support individuals during community outings and activitiesIndividualized Planning & Implementation Participate in development and implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) Provide input on person served progress, preferences, strengths, and areas for growth Support individuals in achieving meaningful, person-centered goals Monitor and report progress toward identified outcomesProgram Activities & Daily Structure Develop and implement daily routines and activity schedules based on individual needs and interests Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate, and skill-based activities Utilize community resources to promote inclusion and independence Encourage social interaction and relationship-building among peersQualifications & Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to engage individuals with varying abilities in meaningful activities Basic computer and documentation skillsPhysical & Work Requirements Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and physical support needs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to supervise individuals in both indoor and community environments Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insuranceCertifications & Training Requirements CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens certification Certified Restraint Training Core A & B certification Completion of required agency and regulatory trainings (e.g., Human Rights, Safety, Medication Administration)Additional InformationFor more information, you may contact Sandy Braunbeck sbraunbeck@rauchinc.org, or Jon Faith, jfaith@rauchinc.org$350 Sign-on Bonus eligible position.For a DSP Job Preview Video, click here.
