More specialized approaches, such as Microbeam Radiation Therapy (MRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), deliver highly focused, high-dose radiation in single or limited sessions, often used for small or well-defined tumors. These modalities are forms of external beam radiation therapy designed to improve accuracy, effectiveness, and patient safety.
