Weekend Program Instructor

Weekend Adventure Program Instructor *Adventure Labs | Lotte Hotel Guam, Tumon* *2 positions available | $20/hour* Adventure Labs is looking for enthusiastic, experienced, and engaging *Instructors* to join our team for four upcoming Weekend Adventures designed specifically for children ages *6–8*. This is a *small, focused camp experience* where children learn through hands-on activities, exploration, STEM, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, movement, and adventure. We are looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with children and can create a *supportive, encouraging, and FUN environment* where campers feel comfortable exploring, asking questions, trying new things, and being themselves. Responsibilities * Lead and teach engaging activities for children ages 6–8 * Facilitate hands-on science, STEM, creative, and team-building activities * Explain concepts and instructions in an age-appropriate and engaging way * Create a supportive, encouraging, and fun learning environment * Encourage curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving * Build positive relationships with campers and help them feel confident participating * Manage a small group of campers and maintain a positive learning environment * Use provided activity plans and materials to facilitate each activity * Help keep activity areas organized throughout the day * Participate in indoor and outdoor activities * Bring energy, enthusiasm, and *FUN* to every activity * Follow Adventure Labs' program plans and safety procedures Requirements * *Previous teaching experience is required* * Experience working with children ages 6–8 is strongly preferred * Strong communication and group-management skills * Energetic, patient, creative, and enthusiastic * Reliable, dependable, and punctual * Comfortable leading hands-on activities * Comfortable participating in outdoor activities * Genuinely enjoy working with children * *Must be able to create a supportive and FUN environment* * Must be willing to actively participate and engage with campers—not simply supervise them Schedule *Saturdays:* 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM *Sundays:* 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM *Location:* Lotte Hotel Guam, Tumon Upcoming Programs * *September 26–27:* Ocean Explorers * *October 3–4:* Jungle Explorers * *October 10–11:* Island Engineers * *October 17–18:* Island Adventurers Applicants may apply for one or multiple weekends.
