Enterprise Street, Ottawa, KS 66067 USAWorkplace Type: On-siteEmployment Type: Hourly | Full-TimeFunction: Product / Distribution SupportEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledMain Duties & ResponsibilitiesWho We Are:Mac Fasteners is a high-volume producer of standard aerospace screws and bolts used around the world in support of a variety of commercial and military applications.JOB SUMMARY:Compiles data and operates a computer in performance of routine clerical duties to maintain departmental business records and reports. Performs warehouse and administrative departmental tasks.Essential Duties Responsibilities and Competencies:Weighs incoming and outgoing product.Receives product from outside processing vendors.Files documents and maintains filing system.Provides weight information to purchasing agent for outside processing vendors.Receives miscellaneous purchase orders for maintenance and shop supplies.Moves product to department staging areas as needed.Keeps receiving area clean.Other duties as assigned by manager.On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.QualificationsOTHER COMPETENCIES:Language Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one situations to employees.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.Education and/or Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of one (1) year similar experience or training in an office environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; and talk or hear.
