This role works nose-to-tail, balancing data-driven hypotheses with strong intuition and behavioral design approaches. Join a small team with a big impact as we chart the future of community-based shopping.What You'll Do:Partner with product managers and engineers to transform requirements into engaging product experiences Create flows, mockups, and prototypesCollaborate with other designers to evolve our brand assets and build out our design systemShare early and often, gather feedback, and iterateMove with passion and urgency to challenge assumptions, drive alignment, and solve problemsEmbrace the opportunity to own decisions, build community, and grow as a designerWhat We're Looking For:3+ years of experience as a product designer working on a cross-functional team regularly releasing product featuresPassion for engaging design solutions that utilize game mechanics and emotional design techniquesSystems thinker, who embraces patterns and thinks end-to-endExperience with design systems and inclusive design practicesBias towards action, with the ability to move with urgency and focusLove of crafting simple solutions to challenging problemsTeam player who believes that the sum is greater than the partsLOCATION: San Mateo, CAHybrid schedule visiting our San Mateo, CA office three days a week (Tues-Thurs).Slickdeals Compensation, Benefits, Perks:The expected base pay for this role is between $108,000 - $153,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
