Job Title: Clinical Worker - ASAM Level 3.5 Residential Treatment
Job Summary: The Clinical Worker at the ASAM Level 3.5 residential treatment facility is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. This role requires a deep understanding of addiction treatment principles, therapeutic modalities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to determine the needs of clients.
Utilize standardized assessment tools to evaluate substance use severity and mental health status.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
Implement motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement in treatment.
Facilitate psychoeducational workshops on topics related to addiction recovery.
Care Coordination:
Collaborate with medical staff, case managers, and other clinical personnel to coordinate comprehensive care.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services post-treatment.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding substance use treatment.
Participate in quality assurance activities to improve service delivery.
Crisis Intervention:
Provide crisis intervention services as needed to ensure client safety.
Assess risk factors for self-harm or harm to others and implement appropriate interventions.
Professional Development:
Stay current with best practices in addiction treatment through continuous education and training.
Participate in supervision sessions and peer reviews for professional growth.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or certification as an addiction counselor (e.g., CADC).
Minimum of two years of experience working in a substance use disorder treatment setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Salary Range: The salary for a Clinical Worker at an ASAM Level 3.5 residential treatment facility typically ranges from $52,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience, education level, geographic location, and specific employer policies.
