Systems Administrator - Tucson, AZ (Bonita IT/IS)
General Summary: The Systems Administrator will play an integral role in maintaining organizational policies to ensure integrity of the network. Under the general direction of IT Leadership, this position performs a variety of technical tasks in computer systems and networks. The System Administrator will troubleshoot and fix issues that compromise network performance or access to the system. This includes but is not limited to integrating and/or solving problems in environments rich in Microsoft Server, Exchange, SQL, IIS, Cisco Internetworking, VPNs, firewalls, backups, Linux, UNIX and more.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Server Operating Systems
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting
Configure file, print and remote access services
Basic administration, including add/remove users and groups, configure file permissions, check event logs, configure and restore from backup
Enterprise E-mail
Exchange Server
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of clients, including remote clients
Extreme administration of enterprise e-mail application, including add/remove users and group, configure folder permissions if applicable, forward mail to other accounts, and add aliases, replication and Clustering
Workstation
Setup, maintain and edit workstation policies
Windows
Troubleshooting and configuration
Configuration of standard POP, SMTP & Exchange clients including
Outlook
Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer's preferences
Works with IT Leadership in project assignments and documents project work in a timely manner. Manages project time and outcomes in Zen Desk.
Works closely with IT Support team in resolving problems and/or implementing new technology.
Works closely with Programs, Departments, Leadership, etc.
Serves on internal committees as designated by IT Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 4 years of combined experience in the following
Active Directory Support, Microsoft Windows and Windows Server Support, Microsoft Exchange Support
Cisco Switching/VLAN/Routing/Firewalling Support
Server Hardware Technologies (CPU/RAID/SCSI) Support
Data Backup and Recovery Support, Corporate Antivirus Support, VPN Connectivity Support
REGULATORY
21 years of age
Current, valid Arizona Driver's License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability coverage to meet insurance requirements.
Eligible for DPS Level I fingerprint clearance.
Initial negative TB test result. (Employer provides)
