Job Description Our organization is currently in search of board-certified or board-eligible general/community neurologists to join our team in Kansas City, MO. We welcome both recent graduates and seasoned professionals, all of whom will receive robust support.Position OverviewThis role is primarily outpatient-focused, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment strategies.Our facility serves as the main teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School, offering the potential for academic appointments based on experience.The neurology residency program accommodates 12 residents, providing educational experiences across all comprehensive treatment centers within the Neuroscience Institute.Numerous research opportunities are available, with a proven history of success; motivated candidates may also qualify for start-up funding.On-call duties are distributed among neurologists, promoting a balanced lifestyle, complemented by the support of advanced practice providers (APPs).We utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.As a non-profit entity, our employees are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).We offer a highly competitive employment package that includes a guaranteed salary along with outstanding benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance, a tax-deferred retirement plan with employer matching, paid time off, and a generous annual CME allowance.About Our Neuroscience InstituteThe Neuroscience Institute is part of our organization, which is a significant player in the nonprofit healthcare sector in the United States.
