This role involves hands-on technical work, customer interaction, and travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays and participation in emergency response during major power outage events.What Youll Do Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on air-cooled and liquid-cooled generator systems with minimal supervisionTroubleshoot and repair automatic transfer switchesRepair or replace generator accessories, including Smart Modules, remote monitors, and surge protection devicesRespond to urgent service requests and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotationSupport generator installation efforts as needed during high-demand or outage situationsTravel daily to customer locations, with occasional overnight travel during large outage eventsSkills & Attributes Strong ability to diagnose and repair systems using training materials, drawings, line drafts, and schematicsAbility to read, interpret, and create electrical drawings and schematicsWorking knowledge of engines, including the ability to diagnose issues, explain repairs, and prepare estimates when requiredHighly organized and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindsetAbility to work and drive safely in a variety of conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snowBenefits 401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA)Paid time off (PTO)Life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP)Employee discountsProfessional development and training opportunitiesRequirements: Minimum of 2 years of related technical experience.Experience with air-cooled and liquid-cooled generators preferred.Valid drivers license with the ability to maintain insurabilityAbility to successfully pass a drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record checkCompensation details: 20-30 Hourly WagePIf7f43753ab06-26289-40451688
