Apply now don't miss out on becoming a part of the Techflex team.Job SummaryThe Machine Operator is responsible for accurately setting-up various material to attain acceptable ovality for all orders.What You Will DoSets up and operates machine.Observes, monitors, and adjusts machine as necessary.Maintains a thorough knowledge of material, set up requirements and machine settings.Schedules work orders efficiently to meet the time sensitive requirements of current open and replenishes sufficient stock for future orders.Picks material from Inventory and maintains Inventory Control of master LRB.Correctly labels processed spools with LRB #, length and part number.Updates production run log record in computer.Reviews order carefully to follow any special requirements.Keeps area clean and organized.Informs supervisor of missing or inadequate inventory to fill orders, stock requirements or supplies needed.Reports all product, process, equipment performance or quality issues to manager.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Knowledge, Skills, & CapabilitiesKnowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and completion of training.Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook and RF Scanning.Communication Skills- Active Listening and Verbal Communication.Ability to ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress, using both hands and feet.Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.Ability to work a consistent schedule.Ability to grasp winding material with fingers and palm while applying steady pressure to foot pedal for sustained periods of time.Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.Visual acuity to examine or inspect material.Physical RequirementsStanding for sustained periods of time.Applying constant pressure to material with fingers and palm.Making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Frequently lifting and/or moving spools weighing up to 50 lbs.Sharp vision required.Work EnvironmentFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.Noise level is usually moderate to high.EducationHigh School Diploma or EquivalentExperienceAt least 1 years' experience related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
