This role focuses on improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality through innovative automation and mechanical design.Key Responsibilities• Design, build, test, and document automation equipment, tooling, and manufacturing procedures• Manage multiple complex projects from concept through production release• Develop automation systems to improve throughput, reduce labor costs, and enhance quality• Perform mechanical design using SolidWorks and apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles• Develop databases to support data analytics and root cause analysis• Support equipment validation and risk management activities (PFMEA, risk assessment)• Create and maintain process documentation and training materials• Communicate project updates to technical teams and leadership• Mentor team members and contribute to technology roadmap initiativesQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing automation• Strong mechanical design experience with SolidWorks • Experience with DFM, PFMEA, validation, and risk assessment• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
