Generation Alpha, a nonprofit fundraising firm based in Houston, has recently made plans to expand its fundraising event team. Generation Alpha's mission is to help its charity partners make a massive impact on the local community by bringing more awareness to their core mission and increasing donations through customized events. To keep up with demand, Gen Alpha has an opening for an outgoing, career-motivated individual to fill the entry-level Community Engagement Representative position as an immediate start.Community Engagement Representative Responsibilities:Educate community members on their charity partners’ core missionAttend daily in-officemeetings to discuss and plan upcoming fundraising eventsOrganize and assist with all fundraising activitiesWork collaboratively and efficiently with fellow entry-level team members and event management to increase awarenessMaintain all donation records throughout the course of each eventAssist with training new entry-level representatives on policies and proceduresCommunity Engagement Representative Requirements:Entry-level experience in philanthropy, community outreach, events or promotionsStrong desire to work with nonprofit organizationsPassion for giving back to the community and volunteeringAbility to public speak and present our mission with confidence and professionalismDemonstrate the ability to use persuasive communication, leadership, and relationship-buildingSales experience preferredPowered by JazzHRm415t2Mv1h
