Site Superintendent

Tract is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, with real estate holdings throughout the United States.As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Site Superintendent who possesses expertise in managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will join our growing team and facilitate successful developments throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of post-education experience in the management of commercial/industrial land development projects.Qualified Candidates Will Lead Safety, Security, Construction, And Maintenance Of Tract’s Sites Through The Course Of Development In Compliance With Local And Industry Standards, Regulations, And Specifications. Additional Tasks May Include But Are Not Limited ToMaintain a daily presence on sites as Tract’s primary point of contact for development activitiesEstablish site security, safety, and logistics plans for the lifecycle of developmentCoordinate with local cultural, environmental, and wildlife resources groups and vendors that require access to sitesWork with contractors to develop and implement appropriate safety and quality plans in accordance with local regulations and industry best practicesConduct weekly safety audits for active construction projectsLead emergency and incident response teams in event of safety incidentsManage construction projects including demolition, grading, roadways, stormwater management, wet and dry utilities, electrical infrastructure and other related aspectsPerform constructability reviews for infrastructure projects during the preconstruction phaseDevelop comprehensive project plans and report against project scope, schedule, budget, change management, and progress for all development projectsEffectively communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teamsPrepare technical reports and presentations summarizing project plans, status updates, and recommendationsCoordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction to identify and obtain necessary permits. Manage contract scope, schedule, and budget of contractors to ensure permit approvalsQualifications15+ years of civil/site construction experience, inclusive of heavy hauling, blasting, rock crushing, bridge and road installation, pipeline installation, and telecommunications pathway and vault installationDeep knowledge of grading, utilities, paving, and stormwater infrastructureStrong field management skills, including safety oversight, sequencing, and logisticsProficient in reading plans and field-level schedule coordinationOSHA 30 required; CPR/First Aid preferred; MSHA CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science OR 10+ years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degreeProficient working knowledge of P6, MS Suite, Bluebeam, Autodesk, and other construction management softwaresRequired Traits And SkillsDedicated to ensuring a safe and incident free work environmentResponsible, ethical, and collaborative mindset with a can-do attitude, pride in work product, and appreciation of the value of communicating, brainstorming and sharing informationPassionate about the heavy civil industry and keeping up with current industry trendsEnthusiastic problem solver who enjoys widely varied challengesSelf-starter who can take the lead on complex projects, work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines, and work with minimal supervisionDetail oriented to support data-driven analysis and decision-makingStrong written communication skills including internal reports / memos and verbal communication skills including presentations to senior leaders and board membersEagerness to be a part of building something unique, special, and valuable in a dynamic environment with a top-notch teamThis position is full-time, on-site in Texas with occasional travel to our headquarters in Denver, Colorado.Expected Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000 Base Salary + Discretionary BonusTract EmploymentTract employees enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K program, standard paid holidays, and unlimited PTO.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
