Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will perform accurate and timely laboratory testing to ensure high-quality patient care. This position requires strong analytical skills, independent thinking, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in laboratory practices. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing and analyze proficiency testing samples according to guidelines. Assume department responsibility in the absence of the supervisor. Complete all required documentation related to patient results. Perform stat procedures within established turnaround time targets. Use good judgment and independent thinking in correlating and interpreting patient results. Review pending and result logs, resolving any outstanding workload or communicating with staff relief. Perform quality control procedures as per protocol and handle all problem or critical laboratory specimens/test results. Work Location: Gainesville, FL Qualifications: Education: Associate Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology preferred. Experience: Less than 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Medical Technologist. Certifications/Licenses: State of Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during the interview process. Technologist License in one or more clinical specialty areas (Generalist highly preferred): Blood Bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology.
