This role will be responsible for executing core accounting functions for multiple clients, maintaining financial records, assisting with monthly closes, and supporting reporting and compliance. You’ll work closely with internal leads and client teams to ensure accounting operations run smoothly and effectively. You are quick to grasp new concepts, eager for constructive feedback, and constantly refining your expertise.Self-directed organization: Your ability to self-manage, prioritize, and navigate the ebb and flow of day-to-day responsibilities keeps our operations running smoothly.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is requiredCPA or similar qualification strongly preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with at least 3 years performing General Ledger dutiesStrong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principlesExcellent client service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information in an accessible mannerDemonstrated ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationshipsExperience in omnichannel retail and eCommerce required, with the agility to adapt to different business models and industriesDemonstrated experience serving as a mentor and resource to others, with the capacity to nurture talent and lead by exampleStrong collaborative skills, with a proven track record of working effectively within a small team where cross-functional interaction is keyProficiency in accounting software and tools (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com)
