Hours: Monday Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm OR 7:00am - 3:30pm
Salem-Keizer Public Schools Maintenance Services Department is accepting applications for the Structural and Utility Teams of the Maintenance Department for Summer Break 2026 maintenance work. Duties may include but are not limited to indoor painting, locker inspections, fire alarm testing support, carpentry and roofing support. Areas of work are indoors and/or outdoors, in all weather conditions.
These positions work well for people who want to work during the three-month period of summer break depending on their availability and district absences.
Area of work is outdoors, in all weather conditions. All interested persons, including current district employees, must submit a completed Recruit & Hire application.
Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have the ability to perform strenuous physical labor in all types of weather and work environments.
Must have the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
Must be able to follow written and oral directions and be able to work independently as required.
