Required Skills: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (no internal medicine or family practice) Valid MA State Medical License DEA Certification in MA ACLS Certification Minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience Ability to see 2.5 to 3 patients per hour Experience in community, rural, or critical access hospital settings preferred Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with Epic EMR or similar charting systems Familiarity with pediatric care, given 14% pediatric volume Comfort working independently with limited onsite specialty support Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Prior experience in rural or community emergency departments Other Requirements: Willingness to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7 PM – 7 AM) Ability to start by September 2026; credentialing may take 3-4 months This position is based in Massachusetts; no travel required, but drive-in preferred as hospital provides housing and ferry reimbursement Embark on a fulfilling journey where your expertise saves lives and strengthens communities.
