HR Generalist (LOA administration focus)

I'm looking for a dynamic HR professional with strong Leave of Absence and employee relations experience to join a collaborative team in the human services field-this role is open NOW and ready for someone who can hit the ground running!Details:🕗 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm📍 Location: must live in MN and pick up equipment on day 1 in Minnesota⏳ Type: 2-3 month contract (start asap, can be considered for the permanent spot while they interview for it)💲 Pay: $65K-$80K depending on experience level💼 Interview process: One virtual Zoom interview and offerResponsibilities:📧 HR Inbox & Employee SupportManage and triage the HR shared inbox, responding to employee questions and requests addressing concerns, questions, and workplace issuesProvide timely, accurate, and customer-focused supportEnsure follow-up is completed and issues are resolved📄 Leave of Absence (LOA) AdministrationProcess and manage all Leave of Absence (LOA) requests, including tracking status and required documentationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company leave policies (e.g., FMLA, medical, personal leave)Communicate with employees and managers throughout the leave lifecycle🩺 ESST (Earned Safe & Sick Time) AdministrationProcess ESST claims accurately and timelyMaintain records of ESST usage and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsRespond to employee questions related to ESST policies and balances🔍 Benefits Auditing & SupportConduct regular audits of benefits data to ensure accuracy and complianceIdentify and resolve discrepancies in benefits enrollment and deductions🔄 HR Transactions & Change ProcessingProcess employee changes, including status updates, job changes, and personal information updatesMaintain accurate employee records in HR systemsEnsure data integrity and compliance with internal procedures🎉 Orientation & Onboarding SupportMay assist with new hire orientation and onboarding activitiesSupport new employees to ensure a positive onboarding experienceRequirements:Must have 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, specifically leave of absence administration and employee relations - requiredPersonable personality and great communicatorKnowledge of LOA processes, ESST regulations, and general HR compliance requirementsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track requests, and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for employee support and issue resolutionProficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office, with strong attention to detail and data accuracyAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
