While prior hospitality/restaurant experience is beneficial, we prioritize finding an individual with meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an authentic passion for marketing. Your central responsibilities will revolve around facilitating effective communication and coordination between corporate Freddy's and our JRI stakeholders, coordinating store events, training our operations team in upcoming and ongoing marketing initiatives, Meta advertising and boosting, fundraiser and donation request coordination, marketing programming reporting, streamlining marketing collateral orders, and leading the charge in New Restaurant Openings and Local Store Marketing endeavors for Freddy's. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to craft and execute marketing strategies that deeply resonate with our target audience.It's worth noting that JRI Hospitality proudly owns and operates 134 Freddy's locations, making us the largest franchisees in the Freddy's network. This unique position presents an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact within the company and the wider restaurant industry.Key Responsibilities:Act as the liaison between the corporate Freddy's and JRI stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of marketing strategies and initiatives for the 134 Freddy's locations owned and operated by JRI Hospitality.Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and implement effective marketing strategies for all restaurant brands within the JRI Hospitality portfolio.Campaign Management: plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns for Freddy's entities, ensuring they are in line with the company's objectives, brand guidelines, and budget. Order and manage marketing collaterals with store and corporate requests, third-party vendor requests, and ensure the internal print portal reflects updated corporate promotional assets.Develop and execute Local Store Marketing (LSM) strategies for Freddy's locations, working closely with individual restaurant managers to drive traffic and sales at the local level.Organizes and executes marketing for New Restaurant Openings, in-store events and community eventsAssist with coordinating sponsorship opportunities and collateral needed. Coordinate and assist with store fundraisers through the internal platform and communications.Update internal SOPs, marketing guides, handbooks, and other marketing files. Social Media Management, including creating team recognition posts, coordinating and sending posts to our Social Media Manager, establishing event pages, and overseeing boosted and paid advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.Audit and ensure billboard and highway exit signage is up to date.Audit and build chamber member relationships with the store’s local chambers.Create and send quarterly newsletters with marketing updates to stakeholders and operations teams.Create and analyze marketing campaign performance data and reports to inform data-driven marketing decisions.Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders in the marketing and hospitality industry.Assist in managing the marketing budget and resource allocation.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis.Provide valuable support to the Marketing Director and Chief Creative Officer in executing marketing initiatives and projects, contributing to the overall success and innovation of the marketing department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies and tools.Highly knowledgeable in social advertising.Exceptional communication and writing skills.Effective task prioritization, project follow-up, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in multitasking, showcasing robust interpersonal and organizational skills, and maintaining strong attention to detail.A motivated self-starter with a positive and proactive attitude, and a creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit.Job Type: Arizona Residents only, not eligible for remote work in California or ColoradoPay: $58,000 - $68,000 per year (DOE)Benefits: Medical/Dental InsurancePaid HolidaysPTOHybrid Schedule401(k) After One Year If you meet the qualifications and requirements and are passionate about this role, please submit your resume with your application.
