About us Thrust Tech Accessories is a small business FAA Regulated 145 Repair Station in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We have been in business for over 30+ years and lead in repair and overhaul of private and regional component parts. Duties: - Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes and 5 axis mill to fabricate parts according to specifications. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations - Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of dimensions - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including lathes and mills - Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders - Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers - Basic math skills for calculations and measurements - Ability to fabricate parts using machine shop tools - Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is a plus - Understanding of lean manufacturing principles Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
