We collaborate with patients, physicians, therapists, and families to provide compassionate care and personalized plans to help patients achieve their mobility goals.Role DescriptionWe are a rapidly-growing, privately held orthotics and prosthetics practice seeking a full-time Orthotic Technician to join our in-house lab team and provide immediate support for our expanding orthotic caseload. This role is primarily orthotics-focused and involves the hands-on fabrication, modification, adjustment and repair of custom orthotic devices, with particular emphasis on thermoforming, plaster modification, and some metal bending. The technician will collaborate closely with clinicians to support timely, high-quality patient care, while also being comfortable working independently in an orthotic lab environment. We are open to training the right candidate and welcome applicants who are eager to develop or strengthen their technical skills and take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and efficiency. While prosthetic technical experience is not required, candidates with prosthetic fabrication or finishing experience are also encouraged to apply, as there is potential for role growth as the clinic continues to expand. Full-time availability is preferred; however, part-time candidates with relevant experience or strong technical aptitude will also be considered. Required: • Knowledge and experience with Orthotics• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and patients• Ability to demonstrate a compassionate and professional demeanor• Ability to work with power tools and materials for device fabrication and repair• Strong organizational and time management skills (to meet patient care deadlines)• Physical ability to perform lab-related tasks (standing, lifting, tool use, repetitive motions)• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace (ensuring efficiency and safety)• High school diploma or equivalent Additional: • Willingness to learn new hand/technical skills• Prior experience in patient care (specifically O&P)• Prosthetic technical experience• Technical certification or training in orthotics and/or prosthetics• Any other relevant technical or vocational training
