Senior Data Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Scientific Data Engineer who will lead the design, development, and testing of software applications to enhance data analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design and develop robust IT solutions and database architectures to meet business requirements Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in major software applications while mentoring junior team members Communicate project plans and status updates effectively to stakeholders and contribute to team objectives Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering; or equivalent experience Expertise in software development design, including Spark on Snowflake or Databricks, Python, Scala, and SQL Experience with ETL data pipelines and database architecture testing methodologies Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS) and Agile development tools Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
