Dietitian

Pride Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Port Charlotte, FL 33949 . The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patient populations and demonstrate the ability to deliver evidence-based nutritional care in a fast-paced acute care setting.Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patientsProvide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditionsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomesMonitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as neededEducate patients and families on dietary needs and overall wellnessMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policiesParticipate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as requiredPatient Population: Adult patients in an acute care hospital settingRequired Qualifications: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credentialActive Florida licensure (if required)Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferredStrong clinical judgment and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environmentPreferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care settingsFamiliarity with therapeutic diets and nutrition support protocolsAdditional Details: Location: Port Charlotte, FL 33949Schedule: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)Open Positions: 1Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
