They are seeking a Senior Java Developer to perform complex application design, system analysis, and full-stack programming across enterprise web applications. Reporting to the Application Engineering Manager, this role combines hands-on technical execution with project leadership and mentorship. The ideal candidate possesses deep experience developing enterprise single-page applications (SPAs) using a combination of the Angular framework on the front end and Java with the Spring Framework on the back end What YOU get to DO at this award-winning company: Application Design & Development: Perform design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance for multiple complex software modules and product sub-systems. Quality & Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, bug verification, and release testing to ensure system performance, functionality, and stability. Project Leadership: Manage concurrent development activities, identify resource needs, mitigate risks, and adapt priorities in a dynamic Agile-Scrum environment. Technical Guidance & Mentorship: Research emerging technologies, suggest technical approaches to management, and provide instruction and mentoring to junior engineering associates. Client & Market Engagement: Interact with external and internal stakeholders, participate in technical demonstrations, and align software design with market and performance requirements. What YOU NEED to SUCCEED in this challenging role: Object-Oriented Design: Strong knowledge of OOP concepts, software architecture, and design patterns. Front-End Development: Hands-on experience developing single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. Back-End Development: Proven track record building enterprise Java-based web applications using the Spring Framework. Data Handling: Proficiency with JSON and XML for data binding, serialization, and RESTful data transfer. UI Component Libraries: Experience with three-tier UI component libraries (such as PrimeNG) is preferred. Database & Tools: Experience writing SQL queries with PostgreSQL databases, as well as familiarity with Maven and Jenkins for build automation, is a plus. Nice-to-haves that will set you apart: Demonstrated ability to act as a technical project lead, balancing multiple complex tasks without sacrificing code quality. Excellent analytical and research skills with a proactive approach to problem resolution. Strong communication and presentation skills for technical demonstrations and client-facing interactions.
