We welcome Full Time or Part Time Employees!! In this role, you will assist patients with various hearing and ear-related concerns. Your responsibilities will include evaluating hearing and balance problems, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, and administering hearing tests. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, compassionate, and committed to providing the highest level of patient care.ResponsibilitiesExamine patients and review their medical historiesConduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and immittance testingInterpret test results and make appropriate recommendations for treatment or further evaluationCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plansPerform diagnostic evaluations to assess hearing and balance disordersFit and dispense hearing aids, including selection, verification, repair, and counseling on use and careEducate patient and family members on treatment and communication optionsProvide follow-up careQualificationsDoctoral degree from an ASHA-accredited programCertification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or the American Board of Audiology (ABA)Previous experience as an Audiologist is preferred, ok to train new graduatesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
