Capital Projects Facilitator
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for managing assigned projects as authorized by the Department of Administration, Division of Facilities Development and the Wisconsin State Building Commission. Responsibilities include management of select delegated projects, assisting institutions in developing program and project budgetary documents, technical review of construction documents, coordinating projects during the construction phase, developing technical specifications, and supporting operational/maintenance needs for state-owned facilities. This incumbent will lead, coordinate, and participate in this team’s assignments and activities.In addition, this position performs a wide variety of project delivery functions including project management, design, construction administration, troubleshooting investigation, and operation and maintenance oversight of facilities. This position provides primary assurance that the design and construction of assigned projects are within the approved program scope, meet the program requirements, are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with Division guidelines, policies, and procedures. The scope of these responsibilities includes approximately 39 institutions and correctional centers each with multiple utility infrastructure systems and buildings.Salary InformationThe starting pay is between $57574 and $94993 per year, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. The pay schedule/range is 07-03.
