Physical Therapist - School Setting in Haverhill, MA

Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. This part-time, onsite position is scheduled for one day per week and extends through June 2026, offering a consistent and rewarding assignment where your skills will be valued and your impact felt.Qualifications & Requirements:Current, active Physical Therapist (PT) license in MassachusettsWillingness and eligibility to obtain any required additional state educational certificationsExperience or strong interest in working within schools or with pediatric and adolescent populationsAbility to communicate effectively with students, staff, and familiesExcellent organizational skills and the flexibility to adapt treatment approaches to individual needsCommitment to professionalism, ethical standards, and ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsKey Responsibilities:Provide direct physical therapy services to students as indicated in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Assess, document, and monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as neededCollaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student success and participation in school activitiesMaintain accurate records and current certification or licensure documentation as required by the school and state regulationsParticipate in IEP meetings and support the development of student-centered strategies for access and participationThis position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference for students while maintaining a predictable, part-time schedule.
