Job Description: Harley-Davidson TechnicianDepartment: ServiceSummary:The Harley-Davidson Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Harley-Davidson motorcycles to factory standards. This role is revenue-producing and performance-driven. The technician directly impacts customer satisfaction, service profitability, and dealership reputation. Efficiency, accuracy, and pride in workmanship are mandatory.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcyclesAccurately document all work performed on repair ordersComplete work efficiently to maximize flat-rate productivityPerform services and repairs to Harley-Davidson factory standardsIdentify additional service needs and communicate them clearly to Service AdvisorsConduct road tests and quality checks as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaUse dealership tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems properlyFollow all safety procedures and dealership policiesStay current with Harley-Davidson training and certificationsPerformance Expectations (KPIs):Flat-rate efficiency and productivityComeback and rework percentageRepair order accuracyHours produced vs. hours availableCSI and customer satisfaction scoresQualifications:Harley-Davidson technician experience preferredValid motorcycle endorsement and driver's licenseAbility to lift motorcycles and work on feet for extended periodsStrong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProfessional attitude and strong work ethicWhat Success Looks Like:High productivity with minimal comebacksConsistent billed hours and strong efficiencyCustomers trust the quality of your workAdvisors confidently sell your recommendationsService department hits labor and throughput goalsPowered by JazzHR
