Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Opportunity in Freeport, MEMake a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Freeport, ME. You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injury or illness, assisting with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and activities of daily living under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. A recruiter will follow up with assignment details upon application. Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Maine PTA license or compact privilege if applicable. State license must be valid to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred. Demonstrated ability with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfer training, and use of common assistive devices. Client-specific requirement: experience documenting in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred. Client-specific requirement: ability to work with geriatric populations and manage fall risk and mobility decline. Assignment DetailsFacility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
