Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: Weekly Schedule: 36 hours Certifications/Licenses: Completion of a state-approved medicine course with a passing grade.Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program.Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience in nursing.Requires that the employee is able to read, write, speak and understandspoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients Mandatory Experience: CNA ExperienceShift: 7am-3PM M-F.Receives report at the beginning of shift with nurses.Reports observations concerning patient condition, emergency situations or difficulties with medications to the supervising nurse;Prepares and administers routine and PRN medications as prescribed by the physician;Does not administer medication based on verbal order;Documents administration of medications per Genesis policies;Maintains medication supply and cleans and restocks medicine carts and medicine room as needed.Notifies pharmacy of new medication orders and refills.Performs accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drugtherapy.Maintains current knowledge of medications and investigates/looks up unknown medications before administration;Uses Point Click Care according to the Business Process, if applicable;Stays and works beyond scheduled shift if needed to meet state staffing requirements and/or needs of patients.
