DevOps Infrastructure Engineer (AWS)
Required Skills8-12 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, RDS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, Lambda, and AWS Systems Manager.Expertise in Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) and Docker.Strong experience with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.Hands-on Linux administration experience.Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Security Groups, and Firewalls.Experience implementing AWS security best practices, IAM policies, Secrets Manager, KMS, and cloud governance.Experience supporting production environments with high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and performance tuning.Strong troubleshooting, automation, and problem-solving skills.Preferred QualificationsAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.Experience with Helm, Argo CD, or other GitOps tools.Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, or Snyk.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure.Build and maintain Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments.Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications.Implement security, backup, disaster recovery, and cost optimization strategies.Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
