Locum Opportunity: Fast Track ER Provider | No Call or Weekends We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Emergency Medicine for a locum tenens position near Ada, Michigan. Operating within a 10-bed Fast Track unit, you will provide essential care in a high-volume, community-focused environment. The Role Start Date: January 1, 2026. Schedule: Consistent Day Shifts (11:00 AM ??? 11:00 PM). Work-Life Balance: No weekend requirements and no on-call duties. Setting: 10-bed Fast Track area within a Level 3 ED (40,150 annual volume). Patient Flow: Collaborative management of approximately 110 daily department visits. Clinical Responsibilities Independent Care: Manage low-to-moderate acuity patients within the Fast Track unit. Collaboration: 24/7 access to attending physicians for consultation and support. Resources: Full 24-hour access to radiology, laboratory services, and surgical specialties. Documentation: Efficient use of Cerner EMR for all patient coordination. Candidate Requirements Licensure: Active Michigan State License (Note: IMLC is not accepted for this role). Experience: Minimum of two years of recent Emergency Department experience. Certifications: Board Certification, plus valid DEA, ACLS, and ATLS.
