We take pride in the food that we serve! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker/Froster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a focus on creating high-quality baked goods. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Baker/Froster, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked items, ensuring customer satisfaction through delicious products, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail for visual appeal. Package finished products for display or sale while adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs or inquiries regarding baked goods. Requirements Above all, attitude! Customer first – you enjoy serving your customers and providing a great experience Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within food production. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Proficiency in various baking techniques including pastry making, cake decorating, and cooking methods. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce visually appealing baked goods. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to reach a common goal. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business needs. Ability to be on your feet for 5-8 hours per shift.
