Your expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence will drive our success and uphold our reputation as a leader in the automotive service industry.Position Overview & ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Outside Sales Specialist at McClary Tire, you will be responsible for the following: Territory - Athens, Decatur and surrounding areas Business Development: Proactively identify and establish contact with potential customers through cold calling, referrals, and in-person visits. Relationship Management: Manage existing accounts by providing expert tire solutions, maintenance programs, service offerings, and ongoing product updates to fleet operators and independent related repair shops. Product Demonstrations: Conduct on-site presentations of tire specifications, features (such as tread patterns and performance ratings), and specialized automotive parts Preventive maintenance: Develop preventive maintenance solutions which assist fleet managers with ensuring their fleets are road ready and DOT compliant DOT certification will be required and can be company sponsored Sales Strategy & Reporting: Execute marketing strategies for specific regions and maintain accurate records to track sales goals.Key Qualifications Experience: Typically requires 3 +years of sales experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in automotive or tire retail. Licensing: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory due to frequent regional travel.
