Job Title: Maintenance Technician I(Medical Devices)Location: Westbrook, ME 04092Duration: 4 MonthsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I for a 4-month contract position in Westbrook, ME. This role is for the 2nd shift, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to work independently during this shift.Key ResponsibilitiesRoutine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, implementing effective solutions.Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and part replacements.Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.Skills & QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in maintenance.Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to document and report maintenance activities.Flexibility: Ability to work the 2nd shift (2:00 pm 10:30 pm) and adapt to changing priorities.Education And ExperienceEducation: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or training in maintenance is a plus.Experience: At least 1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
