Summary The CTR Specialist I is responsible for reviewing and reconciling Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) for filing. This role manages Monetary Instrument Reports (MIR) and reconciles as needed. Additionally, this role completes various BSA/AML responsibilities as needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Compares and reconciles Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) from Integrated Teller and the anti-money laundering system, Verafin, to identify and correct inaccurate or incomplete information. Creates, completes, corrects, and prepares CTRs for submission to FinCEN in a timely manner. Identifies potentially suspicious related activity. Communicates with branch personnel or other departments to obtain accurate reporting data. Maintains a thorough understanding of applicable regulations and software applications. Ability to maintain focus and accuracy. Time management skills to utilize time wisely and complete work on strict deadlines. Ability to research and prepare reports. Knowledge of BSA related regulations preferred. Education And/Or Experience High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required Teller experience preferred Physical Demands And Working Environment Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse - Frequently Lifting - Occasionally (up to 10 lbs) Sitting - Frequently Overtime - Subject to business need Noise Level - Moderate Typical Work Hours - M-F (8-5) Regular and Predictable Attendance - Required Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The pay range for this position is $21.45 to $32.19 per hour in CO and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location.
