Full Stack Engineer

We're hiring for our clients who are emerging and scaling startups, backed by VCs, various Seed rounds or already acquired. We move fast, ship constantly, and operate close to real customer problems. We're looking for a product-minded Full Stack Engineer who can own features end-to-end — from pixel-perfect frontend experiences to scalable backend systems and clean data architecture. What You'll Do Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and databases Ship high-quality product experiences using React, TypeScript, and Next.js Design and build scalable APIs in TypeScript (Node.js) and/or Python Deploy and operate services in modern cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure) Work directly with product and leadership to translate customer problems into shipped solutions What We're Looking For Experience 3–8 years of experience as a Full Stack or Software Engineer Proven track record of shipping production-grade features across the stack Experience in high-growth, fast-moving, product-led environments Comfortable operating with ambiguity and ownership Frontend Strength React TypeScript Next.js (strongly preferred) Strong eye for UX, performance, and scalable component architecture TypeScript (Node.js) and/or Python Strong fundamentals in system design, reliability, and debugging Experience with PostgreSQL and relational schema design Experience deploying and operating systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure Comfortable with CI/CD, containerization, logs, and monitoring Bonus Points (Not Required) Experience building AI-powered features (OpenAI APIs, vector databases, agentic workflows) Familiarity with FastAPI, server-side Next.js patterns Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Kafka Built systems under scale, performance, or availability constraints Who Thrives Here Product-minded engineers who care about business impact Builders who ship fast and iterate relentlessly High-agency operators who don't wait to be told what to do Engineers who take pride in clean architecture and reliable systems People excited to work in-person in NYC or SF and build alongside a driven team Why Join Real ownership and influence over the product Opportunity to build category-defining technology from the ground up #J-18808-Ljbffr
