Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings make up this vibrant community and also encompass an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. Managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator. Join our team of dedicated employees who share in our mission to help our seniors heal, discover, and educate for longer, healthier, more meaningful lives.We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide who would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living residents' physical and emotional well-being for our vibrant senior living in Minneapolis, MN.This caregiver schedule includes:16 hours every two weeks; Part TimeDay shift; 6:30am-3:00pmEvery other weekend and holiday rotationResponsibilities:Personal Care Assistance: Supports residents with daily living activities, including:BathingFoot and fingernail careShavingDressingHair careFeedingToiletingAssistance with hearing aids and/or glasses1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical liftsHealth-Related Support:Assists with treatments as outlined in individualized care plans under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (e.g., blood glucose monitoring).Administers or assists with medications, including insulin injections, as directed by a Registered Nurse.Takes and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.Daily Living Support:May assist with household tasks including laundry, cleaning, meal service, and resident activities.Resident Observation & Reporting:Monitors and reports changes in residents' physical or emotional condition (e.g., mood, appetite, weight).Communicates observations to appropriate staff and contributes relevant input to care planning.Acts as a mandated reporter, promptly reporting any concerns related to potential mistreatment.Emergency Response:Responds appropriately to resident needs and building emergencies, following established protocols.Required Qualifications:Less than 1 year of experiencePreferred Qualifications:GED or High School Diploma1-3 years experienceBenefit Overview:Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
