Bilingual Patient Advocate
A company is looking for a Bilingual Patient Advocate Specialist to assist patients in resolving medical account balances and applying for assistance programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesScreen patients for eligibility for state and federal assistance programs
Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance programs and provide detailed instructions
Maintain accurate documentation on patient accounts and follow up on application statusesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
Experience with medical coding or billing preferred
Proficient PC knowledge and typing ability of 30-40 wpm
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism at all times
