Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification:Bachelor's degree from accredited university(Degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics is preferred)Valid Texas teaching certificate or required training for subject and level assignedEligible ACP candidates must also meet ACP requirements and pass TExES examination(s) required for this position.Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assignedSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of academic subject assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience:At least one year student teaching or approved internshipCALENDAR: 187 work days
