Electrical Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer for the development, integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of subsystem-level electrical testers. This role is highly technical and execution-focused, with a strong emphasis on practical hardware engineering.The ideal candidate should have 4–8 years of recent hands-on experience in designing and building electronics and semi-automated test systems, integrating hardware/software, and debugging complex electrical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesTester Development & IntegrationDesign, build, and maintain subsystem characterization testers:Power distribution and protectionSignal conditioning and measurementControl, interlocks, and safety circuitsDevelop custom test hardware (fixtures, wiring harnesses, test jigs)Integrate testers with:Mechanical fixturesSensors, actuators, power electronics, embedded systemsLab and production environmentsElectrical Characterization & DebuggingPerform subsystem electrical characterization:Voltage/current measurementsSignal integrity and timing analysisNoise and groundingTroubleshoot issues in:Analog and digital electronicsPower supplies, converters, motor drivesCommunication interfaces (I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB)Hands-On Lab ExecutionExecute testing in lab environments:Bring-up of testers and subsystemsDebug under schedule pressureSupport verification and troubleshootingUse lab equipment:Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power analyzersEnvironmental and stress testing setupsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field4–8 years of hands-on experience in:Test system developmentSubsystem-level electrical integration & characterizationExperience in:Analog & digital circuit design/debuggingPower electronics (low-voltage/high-current systems)Strong troubleshooting skills using lab toolsExperience across full lifecycle: concept → build → bring-up → supportStrongly PreferredEmbedded subsystemsMotion control systemsSensor & transducer technologiesPower distribution systemsCommunication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485)Preferred QualificationsMedical device experienceFamiliarity with industry standardsExposure to PLM tools and change managementEMI/EMC knowledge in harness designKey SkillsWire harness design & routingElectrical schematics interpretationNX Routing (3D harness design)Component selection & validationStrong analytical and communication skills
