Speech-Language Pathologist
Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC and an Ohio license for a weekday Part-Time or PRN coverage in fast-paced outpatient, SNF and hospital settings. Modified Barium Swallow study experience preferred. SLP is responsible for patient evaluation, development of treatment plan, and follow through of specific treatment programs within the scope of practice as prescribed by the attending physician and based on the diagnosis, history, experience, and goals of the client.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree with national certification by the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and current Ohio Licensure. Completion of CFY is required.
- Competency in MBSS procedure and interpretation is required.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be competent in performing speech, language, and cognitive assessments, designing treatment plans, and performing appropriate treatment and procedures. Must have strong customer service and organizational skills, and be computer literate.
- Sound judgment and common sense are necessary to accurately assess patients’ performance areas and components, determine appropriate intervention strategies and discharges. Must be able to work independently with clients and with members of the interdisciplinary team.
- BLS certification through AHA is preferred, but not required.
