The role involves the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for designated patients while ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective return to community activities. Additionally, this position serves as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, while performing various professional duties associated with patient care and the development of therapy services.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nComplete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.\nDocument medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner, including goal writing and charge entry.\nEnsure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and in compliance with insurance requirements.\nParticipate in student programs as assigned, providing positive learning environments and appropriate supervision.\nCreate individualized professional development plans, actively pursuing continuing education and professional growth.\nAdhere to discipline-specific state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.\nUnderstand and implement the organization's performance improvement methodology to enhance service quality.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.\nCurrent CPR certification.\nActive and applicable state licensure for Physical Therapy.\nExperience with Select Medical or a similar agency is preferred but not required.\n\n\nSchedule\nThis position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule.\n\nAssignment Duration\nThis is a 13-week contract position.\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
