Senior Landscape Architect / Studio Practice Lead - AE7

AE7 Pittsburgh is looking for well-rounded Senior Landscape Architect. Preferred candidates will have experience / expertise in master planning, community planning, parks and other multidisciplinary projects of various sizes and scale. If suitable credentials, this position could also entail building and leading a landscape studio what would facilitate US as well as international projects if desired.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include concept, schematic, design development and construction documentation / specificationsStrong design / detailing / documentation capabilitiesRequire knowledge and in depth experience with; materials and finishes, levels and grading, furniture, lighting, planting and irrigationAble to manage / mentor graduate staffPossess strong working knowledge of standards and technique in the fieldAble to coordinate consultants and other disciplinesQualifications & Skills:Essential:Minimum of 10 years experience in the field of Landscape ArchitectureBachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related fieldStrong knowledge of Codes, ADA and local zoning requirements that can impact planning and designGood interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a teamAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficientlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong design and/or technical portfolioDesirable:Ability to use some of the following: AutoCAD, Civil 3d, Sketch up, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Photoshop, InDesign and IllustratorLandscape Architecture licensureLEED certificationQualified candidates should electronically submit a resume and portfolio to hr.northamerica@ae7.com with the job title of “Senior Landscape Architect” in the Subject line.
