Job Description About SiegfriedAs a Design Engineer at Siegfried, you will be responsible for the design and production of infrastructure construction documents for both public infrastructure and private development projects. This includes the design of grading, paving, drainage, stormwater treatment, sanitary sewer, and water supply systems.What You’ll DoIn general, the duties of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following tasks:Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D software for design and documentationPrepare civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for projects such as grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site developmentReview project requirements, codes, and regulations to ensure complianceCollaborate with clients, technical staff, and management to ensure project successMaintain organized project documentation and adhere to deadlinesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringEngineer-In-Training (EIT) certification preferred2+ years of relevant civil design experienceProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D softwareStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, technical staff, and managementExperience in the design and production of infrastructure construction documentsDemonstrates integrity, and builds highly effective relationships at all levelsIs able to identify technical issues, and bring them to the attention of managementWhy Join Siegfried?We believe that a healthy team is a strong team.
