Infrastructure Provisioning/Operations Engineer About the Project:We are undertaking a significant project to transition from VMware to LXD, building a software platform that alleviates users from infrastructure-specific configurations. This platform will enable seamless orchestration and management of containerized applications, ensuring high performance and reliability. As part of this initiative, we are looking for skilled engineers to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using Ansible.Key Responsibilities:Automate the deployment of Kubernetes clusters on LXD using Ansible, ensuring consistency and reliability.Manage configurations and updates for Kubernetes clusters using Ansible playbooks.Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of applications.Assist with the migration of VMs from VMware to LXD.Contribute to open-source projects and stay updated with the latest developments in the community.Set up alerts and monitoring for Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and performance.Provide support and troubleshooting for Kubernetes and Ansible-related issues.Qualifications:Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.Proficiency in using Ansible for automation and configuration management.Familiarity with public cloud deployment and LXD.Experience with both VMware and LXD environments.Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.Ability to contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with the community.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage large data center environments.
