Kitchen Manager
A Kitchen Manager is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. They are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence. A Kitchen Manager's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Kitchen Managers lead by example first and set the tone that others will follow.PLEASE NOTE: If a candidate has never worked for/in a Chick-fil-A restaurant before, they will almost certainly need to work as a team member for at least 90 days before being considered for a leadership position.Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:* Lead/oversee daily operations of assigned shift* Troubleshoot staffing for the shift.* Provide a fast and accurate service during assigned shift.* Communicate and troubleshoot issues with fellow managers.* Hold team accountable to handbook and culture standards.* Keep a clean and safe working environment.* Oversee systems and processes in the kitchen* Having 1:1's with Assistant Managers to workshop and explain execution of Chick-fi-A's goals and visionQualifications and Requirements:* Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility* Reliable transportation* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members* Strong commitment to superior customer service* Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues* Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.* The ability to speak Spanish or another language in addition to English is not required but is preferred.Our Benefits Include:* A fun work environment where you can positively influence others* Flexible scheduling (and closed on Sundays)* Learning first-hand from an experienced Operator and Restaurant Leaders* Intentional growth and development to help you reach your professional goals* Scholarship opportunities* Competitive payChick-fil-A LIndle Road is an EEO employer.Working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant is more than a fast food job - it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
