Person, Dining Attendant, F&B Cashier, Pool Server, Pool Cabana HostJOB SUMMARY:Ensure guests are greeted warmly upon entry, provide excellent service, process payments, and assist fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction.JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES-F&B CASHIER:Greet guests; seat them in the restaurant according to the rotation scheduleOperate a cash register and properly settle checksTabulate bills using calculators, cash registers, or optical price scannersResponsible for the proper settlement of all guest checksReceive payment by cash, credit cards, comps, or automatic debitsIssue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guestsRecord tips from credit cards, automatic debits, and comp guestsKeep the work area neat and cleanAssist guests by providing information and resolving their complaintsBalance the register at the end of the shiftBuild relationships with guestsDemonstrate superior guest service skills by displaying outlined service behaviorsEnsure service recovery activitiesMaintain an upbeat and positive attitude, create an atmosphere of luck and positive energy with gestures, and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the nextBuild relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greetingMaintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning dutiesAssist in clearing, cleaning, and with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and ValuesEDR Cashier:Able to work behind the serving line as a cook, as neededControl food production to include: proper cooking methods, cooking time, and temperature, ensuring sanitation, handling, and storage of prepared food and leftovers as neededRoom Service Cashier:Accept responsibility for cash register bankroll, all cash received, credit card charges, complimentary receipts, and charges to roomsMaintain knowledge of current menu items and pricing, how the items are prepared, and what accompanies each mealResponsible for taking guests' food and beverage orders in a timely, cordial, and professional manner, noting any special requests, obtaining needed approvals/verifications as necessary, and processing all orders using the computer systemAssure timely delivery of comp requests from VIP Services and other casino departmentsResponsible for keeping accurate log entries for all call-down orders, special requests, and hotel guest charge recordsVerify guest room numbers and estimated time of arrival for delivery of amenitiesDispatch and track service person availability for orders and assign deliveries, as well as tray pickNotify management of any guest complaints, alleged discrepancies, and/or problems involving Room ServiceAssist in the routine inspections and monthly inventories of room service equipment, china, flatware, linen, etc., to ensure proper storage and maintenanceJOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES--SUPERVISOR:Ensure that all food and beverage products served meet the established specifications and standardsContinuously improve service by evaluating service breakdowns using guest feedback, data, and behaviorCommunicate service breakdowns and facilitate opportunity-seeking meetings to consistently involve all team members in service improvementsAddress service breakdowns and follow up to ensure guest satisfactionResolve all guest complaints and relay to the managerEnsure that adequate supply levels are maintainedAssist with department reporting and data analysis as requiredResponsible for the development and maintenance of department procedures and guidelinesAssist in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and menu items for maximum guest satisfactionPrepare schedules and station breakdownsConduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important informationConduct end-of-shift banking functionsAssist the cashier with voids and overridesWork with Finance and IT teams to ensure that all revenue is captured and reported in an accurate and relevant mannerBuild relationships by greeting guests and staff with a warm, friendly verbal greeting and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitudeTake personal responsibility for creating an atmosphere of luck and positive energy with gestures and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the nextPrepare prep listsServe as a communication liaison to subordinates and the Restaurant ManagerResponsible for the timely delivery of comp requests from VIP services and other casino departmentsResponsible for the complete set-up and operation of each scheduled shiftComplete the shift logs in a timely and accurate mannerDevelop highly skilled, successful Team Members, set realistic and measurable service standards, and hold Team Members accountable for meeting standardsCommunicate and enforce company expectations, including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals, and business strategyEnsure service recovery activitiesExhibit sound decision-making with emphasis on motivating the team and maintaining high moraleEnforce all appearance and uniform guidelinesMonitor bartenders and other Team Members with cash to ensure proper cash handling proceduresConduct a physical inventory of barware and requisition replacement items as neededEnsure all Team Members are following the guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC BoardMonitor asset control of liquor bottles, draft, and bottled beer and wineOther duties as assignedAdhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerSelu Restaurant/The Pools:Supervision of all pool activities to include staffing, scheduling, ordering, & eventsMeet & greet pool guests to offer a high level of professional servicePlan and execute pool & beverage eventsGreet, interact, and assist resort staff in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environmentRespond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficultiesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or GED is requiredSix months of food service experience is preferredRASP certification is required**Can be completed within 30 days of the hire dateMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and
